Senior sunrise was delayed a day due to the rainy weather on the first day of school. However, that did not damper the senior class spirit for getting back to school. So excited for what this year will bring for them! # Classof2025
Phone lines to the high school have been repaired.
At this time the Bluestem High School has lost all internet capabilities, this does include phones. If you need to leave a message for students you can call the elementary office and they will relay that information to the high school. You will be notified when it has been
repaired.
All sports practices will begin on August 19th. We will have an opportunity for Jennifer Eagleson to complete the physicals after school on August 15th. The KSHSAA physical form must be completed before she can do the physical.
We are so excited for the new school year. The first day of school is August, 13th. See you all there.

Hi! My name is Jayte Pryce and I will teach art at Bluestem High School this year. I graduated from WSU in 2023 and began my teaching career in Andover. I’m excited to join a small school district similar to the one I grew up in. I have been with my husband for almost 12 years, have two rambunctious standard poodles, and have a 4-month-old baby girl. I love making art, doing DIY projects, watching TV shows, and spending time with family and friends in my spare time. See you this fall!
Bluestem enrollment is open online and both buildings will be open Tuesday, July 30th from 8-4 and Wednesday, July 31st from 10-6.

My name is Rachel Formy-Duval. I’ve lived in about seven states and moved around 10 times over my lifetime. I’ve always loved history and teaching, so I wanted to combine the two and become a history teacher. My hobbies include crocheting and painting. I am looking forward to the new school year and having an exciting time in history!
Hi everyone! My name is Veronica Biddle and I am excited to be teaching Middle and High School Spanish! I was born and raised in Colorado where I also graduated from Colorado State University in 2023.
Although this is my first year teaching, I am no stranger to the world of education and coaching. I have coached gymnastics and cheer and look forward to taking on the high school cheer program here at Bluestem!
