Today Bluestem FFA green hands attend the Greenhand night and Greenhand conference today at Friends university. It was a very large turnout for the state of Kansas. So support our local FFA chapter whenever you can!

Due to a chemical fire at Fleming’s feed and grain, all Leon residents North of Central should evacuate their homes. The Bluestem Elementary School is open for residents.

Mr. Gomez and the 4th Hr Art Students joined Mr. Babcock's S&C class to paint the old and rusty weights. The students used spray paint and dish soap to create a cool looking Bluestem-themed design. #LionPride

Homecoming week is off to a great start. It was great to see so many students participate. This was the best turnout in years! Congratulations to the Freshman class for winning the hallway decorating competition. There theme was New York City.

Thanks to the Bluestem Booster Club, Student/Athletes who were recognized for good attendance at Summer Weights were awarded personalized water bottles. Over 50 athletes (many not pictured) received a bottle for their hard work throughout the summer. #LionPride
