Last Thursday, HS Track went to Clearwater for a track meet. Our athletes competed against other athletes from Clearwater, Cheney, Conway Springs, Concordia Academy, Norwich and Wellington. It was a great start to the track Season. Results were: 4th place: Boys 4x100 meter relay 3rd place:Girls 4x100 meter relay, Girls 4x400 meter relay 2nd place:Boys 4x800 meter relay, Mallory Potter-high jump Champion:Axton Vice-Pole Vault Great day to be a Lion!!

Congrats to our FFA members who traveled to Chanute this past Thursday for this year's NCCC SMAW welding competition. This year's team consisted of Dagan Turner, Tristan Campa-Garcia, Tyler Batson, Mason Brenton, and Tucker Carlisle. A big congratulations to Mason Brenton who received 1st place in the high school division of the contest.

Congratulations to the Lions baseball team as they sweep Flinthills with scores of 10-8 and 12-4.

Congratulations to the Lady Lions softball team as they sweep Flinthills this evening with scores of 14-1 and 11-1.

Many athletes PR'd and several brought home medals. Senior Dagan Turner broke State Records in all 3 lifts, as well as the total weight combined for his weight class. The boys team competed against 19 teams and took 5th place overall. Athletes competing for the Lions were: Harley Bascombe, Mason Brenton, Noah Couey, Logan Hiedeman, Myles Highbarger, Brayson Mohr, Colten Neal, Ayson Shepherd, Hunter Thompson, Dagan Turner, Axton Vice, Laythan Vice, and Brody Wiening.
