Friday there are a TON of opportunities to earn COTY points! Attendance at the game AND the dance will be counted towards COTY points, and if you attend BOTH, you will earn extra points for your class! Winners of the class banner competition will receive a whopping 20 COTY points for their class! Winners of the float competition will receive a grand total of 30 COTY points for their class! Winners for both competitions will be announced at halftime!

Students who show up to help decorate their class float tonight from 6-8pm will earn their class COTY points. More information on tonight will be given to you during Character Ed.

Practice has been changed to Friday the 26th, from 10am-3pm. Lunch will be provided. The Little Lions will have a 3-hour break and need to be picked up from the elementary school at 3 pm. They need to be back at the football field at 6pm.

The results are in!!! There were a ton of you who brought the sass in your best dress and showed off your gorgeous newly-found locks, and a lot of you who sported the best 5 o’clock shadow the halls of bluestem has ever seen. It was a tough call. The junior high winners for yesterday’s spirit day were Lane Peterson and Mavilynn Crenshaw!! And your high school winners were the fabulous three aka: Owen Barkus, Noah Couey, and Tyllier Freeman. You three can have fun deciding who gets to claim the prize! Your girl high school winner was Paytone Njogu!!! Winners each day will receive a voucher for the concession stand at the homecoming game Friday and will also earn their class an additional 5 COTY points. Good luck to all of you who went all out for today’s theme: student/teacher swap. The rest of the dress up days are on display in the cafeteria beside the gym doors and are on Bluestem’s Facebook Page.
