You guys worked very hard and we are all proud of you! If you are planning on going to after-prom, please stop by the office to receive a flyer. They need to be handed in to the office by April 2nd. You also need to fill out the sign-up form in the office. If you are going to after-prom, you will not be allowed to leave once you are there. If you are wanting to bring an out of district date to prom, please pick up a form next to the office. Forms are due to Ms. Klenda by April 15th. Students who are planning on going to the Pittsburgh Science Day, you need to meet in Mr. Day’s room during CE. Prom work in Mrs. Winter’s room during CE today. Check in and get an e-hallpass first. Club pictures (Stuco, NHS, Trap Team…etc) will be today beginning at 3:00. Sports pictures will begin at approximately 4:00. Today is Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 Today for Lunch: Option 1: Tacos Option 2: Four Layer Quesadilla Option 3: Salad Station The Lions Powerlifting team had another great showing at the 1A State Powerlifting Meet in Conway Springs on Saturday. Many athletes PR'd and several brought home medals. Senior Dagan Turner broke State Records in all 3 lifts, as well as the total weight combined for his weight class. The boys team competed against 19 teams and took 5th place overall. Athletes competing for the Lions were: Harley Bascombe, Mason Brenton, Noah Couey, Logan Hiedeman, Myles Highbarger, Brayson Mohr, Colten Neal, Ayson Shepherd, Hunter Thompson, Dagan Turner, Axton Vice, Laythan Vice, and Brody Wiening. Athletes competing for the Lady Lions were: Jazmen Caywood, Cierra Davis, and Terrin Fewin. Results: Dagan Turner-1st Bench Press, 1st Squat, 1st Clean, 1st Overall. This past Saturday the Baseball team hosted an alumni scrimmage. Thank you to the alumni who were able to attend. It was a fun day and great to play before our first game on 3/25 in Douglas.
