📢 Bluestem Jr/Sr High School Updated Start Date
We know our community has been waiting patiently, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate another adjustment to our start date. The first day of school for Bluestem Jr/Sr High School is now set for Wednesday, August 20.
Why the delay?
Final safety checks and construction work are still in progress, and we are required and want to ensure every safety code is fully met before welcoming students back into the building. Your child’s safety is always our top priority.
📅 Important Dates:
• Monday, August 18 – Athletic practices begin (practice schedule coming soon)
• Tuesday, August 19 | 4–6 PM – Small Open House for students & parents
• Wednesday, August 20 – First Day of School
The impact this adjusted start date has on the school year will be shared at a later time.

*A district open house is being planned in the upcoming weeks so the public can tour both buildings to see the renovations and new additions.
