Juniors: Please tell your parents there will be an after prom meeting next Monday at 6:30. If you want input on after prom, you should plan to be there as well.
Junior prom committee: We will be leaving the school about 8 this Friday to do site visits for prom. Tell Mrs. Winter if you plan to attend.
Forensics will be going to the showcase at the state fair Thursday, 9/11. Forensics is a high school group who compete in speech and drama meets, usually on Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings. Please let Mrs Winter know if you would like to go. It is for forensics members and anyone interested in forensics who would like to see what it is all about.

As an incentive to help you get used to this expectation and help hold us accountable as a building your administrators have pledged to donate $1 each day there are zero electronic device violations. Some teachers will be donating a quarter per day. We will separate this by middle school and high school and each term we will use the money earned by students complying with the policy to do something fun for each group of students. Congratulations to our middle school students for having zero cellular device violations! They are already earning money!! High school - you are very close to earning money as well. Let’s make this the first day you earn some money.
Tonight is the volleyball homeopener against Burden. The theme is NEON and the game starts at 5 PM at the HS gymnasium. Remember that you get 1 COTY point for showing up, 2 for also being dressed in the theme! Be there or be square.

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will meet in Mrs. Smithson’s room on Wednesday mornings from 7:15 am to 7:55 am. Come for a short devotional, songs, games and sometimes food! Everyone is invited to attend. Our first meeting is tomorrow morning!
