In addition to TVL art, Cali Young placed 3rd for her artwork titled, “Self Portrait” at the Coutts Museum Student Showcase. Mia Cortez earned 2nd place for her artwork titled, “Sunflower Daydreams.” Merek Crenshaw earned 3rd for his artwork titled, “Animals.” And Brecken Tullis received Honorable Mention for her artwork titled, “Childhood Self Portrait.”

Bluestem Forensics Competes at State Champs
Congratulations to Bluestem Forensics for success against the best of the best at state this past weekend. Cassie Keeler had two firsts in prelim rounds, broke semifinals in prose, and finished 8th. Duet of Cassie Keeler & Zola Batson went straight thirds and finished 13th and just missed the semifinals. Regan Herold had a third in an extemp round. Zola had a 2nd place in a round in POI. IDA team of Olivia Beason & Margaret Crafton had a second in a round. IDA team of Zola Batson & Jacob House had a third in a round. Andrew Follett had two 5th-place finishes in impromptu speaking. Trinity Hughes went straight 5th in humorous solo rounds. Congratulations on being competitive with the best actors and speakers in our state. Your coach is very proud of your performances!

Congratulations to Sophomore Reagan Neal on breaking the Bluestem school record in the 3200m Run with a BLAZING time of 11:39.33! The record was previously held by Brenda McCollum (2012). Reagan also broke her own record in the 1600m with a time of 5:24.54!
