For Wednesday and Thursday - If you are interested in taking Driver’s Education courses, please sign up in the office before the end of day today.
Class officers will be elected Monday during character ed. If you would like to run for a high school class officer position, please sign up in the office by Monday at 1.
Anyone interested in joining the musical cast or crew, please contact Mrs. Winter in room B3. It’s open to grades 7-12.
If you are interested in competing in speech or drama competitions this spring, we are planning a trip to the state fair to watch an exhibition. Please see Mrs. Winter if you want to find out more.
Senior class is having a class meeting on Monday during Character Ed in the library.
If you are still interested in Dungeons and Dragons Club, Sign-up by filling out the form located on the bulletin board in the hallway outside Mrs. McLallen's classroom. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, August 29th, and we will meet every two weeks after that.
Middle School Student Council sign up ends today. Sign up outside Mrs. McLallen room.
Reminders:
Every day you want to ride the activity bus, you must sign up in the office before 3:00.
High School and Junior High Cheer practices are Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 A.M.
All Mrs Winters students please go to her classroom at 8:30a.m.

It's a beautiful day to be a Lion! It was the first day of practice for the 7/8th grade football team!
The Tri-Valley League has released an important statement concerning schedule changes and sportsmanship for the current season. We kindly ask that you stay informed about these updates. Thank you for your attention.
Construction is underway at Bluestem! It's exciting to see big equipment hard at work! Improvements and upgrades are on their way!
The high school dance team is looking for members. Please come to the meeting on Thursday August 22nd to learn all about it.

Senior sunrise was delayed a day due to the rainy weather on the first day of school. However, that did not damper the senior class spirit for getting back to school. So excited for what this year will bring for them! # Classof2025
Phone lines to the high school have been repaired.
At this time the Bluestem High School has lost all internet capabilities, this does include phones. If you need to leave a message for students you can call the elementary office and they will relay that information to the high school. You will be notified when it has been
repaired.
All sports practices will begin on August 19th. We will have an opportunity for Jennifer Eagleson to complete the physicals after school on August 15th. The KSHSAA physical form must be completed before she can do the physical.
We are so excited for the new school year. The first day of school is August, 13th. See you all there.
Open House is Thursday, August 8th from 4:00-8:00pm.

Hi! My name is Jayte Pryce and I will teach art at Bluestem High School this year. I graduated from WSU in 2023 and began my teaching career in Andover. I’m excited to join a small school district similar to the one I grew up in. I have been with my husband for almost 12 years, have two rambunctious standard poodles, and have a 4-month-old baby girl. I love making art, doing DIY projects, watching TV shows, and spending time with family and friends in my spare time. See you this fall!
Bluestem enrollment is open online and both buildings will be open Tuesday, July 30th from 8-4 and Wednesday, July 31st from 10-6.
