We know our community has been waiting patiently, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate another adjustment to our start date. The first day of school for Bluestem Jr/Sr High School is now set for Wednesday, August 20.
Why the delay?
Final safety checks and construction work are still in progress, and we are required and want to ensure every safety code is fully met before welcoming students back into the building. Your child’s safety is always our top priority.
📅 Important Dates:
• Monday, August 18 – Athletic practices begin (practice schedule coming soon)
• Tuesday, August 19 | 4–6 PM – Small Open House for students & parents
• Wednesday, August 20 – First Day of School
The impact this adjusted start date has on the school year will be shared at a later time.

Online enrollment opens July 29th through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Parents are encouraged to complete the process online. You can scan the QR code for direct access to the Parent Portal. For those needing additional help, in-person enrollment will be available at the elementary school (serving both campuses) on: July 29th from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM July 30th from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM If your student is new to the district or if you live outside the district boundaries, please contact your school office for further information and instructions.
