Lady Lions Volleyball is moving on to Sub state. The team placed second in our regional bracket this evening. Congratulations!


Congratulations to Officer Klenda for being our Lion of the Month recipient. Officer Klenda steps up to help anytime she is needed. She saw the concessions were short-staffed and stepped in to lend a helping hand. Officer Klenda also made many positive connections with our students.


Congratulations to Freshmen, Addison Earnest for being our Lion of the Month recipient.As a new student to Bluestem this year, Addison has quickly made positive peer connections as well as shown great leadership skills in the classroom. The teacher who nominated Addison shared that she sets a good example by staying on top of her work, and asks questions that show her high-level thinking.

There will be another Junior Wrestling Meeting tomorrow (Tuesday) at 7:45am in Coach Burtin’s room for any boy or girl interested in wrestling. Practice starts Wednesday of this week after school due to the Junior High Volleyball tournament tomorrow. Enjoy a couple afternoons off and come wrestle!

Lions cross country had a great league meet yesterday at Fredonia, with 5 out of 7 runners registering a personal record (PR) and two earning medals. This race concluded the Junior HIgh season, and they were a great group that had a season to be proud of. PRs and medals were as follows.
Varsity Girls 5K:
Reagan Neal, 2nd Place, 21:03 (PR and medal), All League honors
Varsity Boys 5K:

Reminder: Jostens will be here today for a Ring confirmation. They will be handing out companion/gratitude rings as well as checking finger sizes of those that ordered a class ring. Time is 1:45-2:15.
