BJSHS Weekly Activities
The BHS Lady Lions will participate in a non-varsity tournament at Remington High School on Dec. 7th. Game 1 is at 9 am, with game 2 immediately following.

Breakfast With Santa
Last week, Bluestem Elementary hosted a food drive to donate to the Leon United Methodist Church for Thanksgiving meal baskets. The students and families donated 384 items and we are very thankful!
The afternoon Early Childhood class also made their monthly visit to the senior center today, where they were able to make handprint turkey crafts. They also played duck, duck, turkey and ring around the turkey games! They enjoyed their cookie snack too! We love getting to visit with the seniors in the community!
The morning Early Childhood class visited the senior center. We enjoyed making handprint turkeys and playing duck, duck, turkey with the seniors! And finished off our visit with a little snack.
Harlan to continue Softball career
Andrea Harlan, senior catcher recently committed to continue her softball career at Neosho Community College. Harlan is a three year starter and has been part of multiple state tournament teams, most noticeably finishing 3rd in 2018.

It is currently cold, raining, and snow coming around the time you are going to be coming into the gym. I don’t want anyone driving in this stuff. We will still be on for tonight unless you hear from me otherwise. Please let other people know, NO Practice this morning! Enjoy your day, and be ready to work tonight. My first graders are working hard on adding, subtracting and making 10 in math today.

This is the high school's send off for Mr. Bachura & Miss Hilgendorf. When they come back they will be Mr. & Mrs. Bachura! Congrats!!! May God bless you on your new journey!!

Lovesee select 2nd Team All-State
The Kansas Volleyball Association recently released their 2019 All-State Volleyball Teams. BJSHS Junior outside hitter, Torrance Lovesee was selected Class 2A 2nd Team.
