On Saturday May 7th we sent 3 of the Bluestem fishing teams to the Kansas State Championship at Melvern. It was a tough day for all as the lake was up 2 1/2 feet, muddy and cold. The teams persevered through and we were able to have 2 teams place. The team of Laythan Vice and Beau Barnes placed 8th and team Brody Mohr and Bronc Kieffer placed 9th.

Bluestem Junior High Spring Concert and awards will be Tuesday, May 10th, at 7:00 pm in the auditorium. The concert will feature the Junior High Choir and Band. Come out an support the Junior High vocal and instrumental students.
