Bluestem Elementary Craft Day-
We could still use some helpers for Wednesday, Dec. 15. The response for Tuesday has been great and we are full! If you can't help out on craft day cookie donations are always needed.
Thank you to everyone who helps out with our annual craft day. The kids love it!

Just a reminder that angel tree applications are due this Friday November 19th. Please bring your applications to the city office or your child's school.

***BLACK FRIDAY CHANGE OF PLANS ***. Bluestem Mercantile will be close Thursday, November 25th, and Friday, November 26th. We will open for SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY, November 27th and Monday, November 29th until 7pm for the Christmas Tree Lighting and Shop Local Crafters. On the 29th come to the Bluestem Mercantile for Cookies, Cocoa, and Santa. We will have the drawing for every $10 that you spend, your name will be entered once in a drawing to win a Bluestem Mercantile basket.

There will be a parent meeting with Coach Hamblin for High School Girls Basketball this Wednesday, November 17th, at 6pm in the High School auditorium!

Bluestem Elementary picture re-takes are Thursday, Nov. 18th. If you are unhappy with your picture packet and you want re-takes, please return the packet with your child on Thursday.

The Lion Pride Committee is going to be serving a FREE Thanksgiving meal this Saturday, November 13 from 4 to 7 at the Elementary School. Bring your family out and come join in. There will be a traditional style Thanksgiving meal and a lot of good company!


Today Mr. Pretz and Kylie Metzker performed Taps at the flagpole in honor of Veterans Day! It was voluntary for students to attend and we had a great turnout! Thank you to all who have served and sacrificed so much!
