The USD 205 Board of Education adopted the Bluestem School District Reopening Plan at their regularly scheduled meeting on August 17, 2020.The Board will reevaluate this policy every two weeks in collaboration with the Butler County Health Department. If the data shows that the risk is diminishing, recommended restrictions could/will be reduced.
The first day of school is scheduled for August 26, 2020. Please disregard all district events on the printed school calendar prior to that date. There will be no open house this evening, this may be rescheduled. As of now, all sporting event dates are the same. The district's complete reopening plan will be available on August 18, 2020. Thank you for your patience and support.
Fall Sports practices begin Monday. All participants must have a completed sports physical, signed concussion form and COVID questionnaire completed and on file before being cleared to participate.

Those parents requesting remote learning options for their children still need to enroll. We are needing an accurate count to finalize the program. That information will then be sent to those parents/students to make a final decision on remote or in-person instruction.
Bluestem USD 205 is committed to protecting the health of our students and staff for the safe return to on-site instruction and learning. Plans WILL CHANGE based on the most current information available regarding federal, state, and local recommendations and requirements.
Sports Physicals have been rescheduled for Tuesday, August 4th and Thursday, August 6th from 8am-12pm. Please enter through the main entrance of BJSHS. There cost for physicals is $25. Forms will be available upon arrival.
