On Saturday, November 12th, the Bluestem Marching Pride performed in the Celebration of Freedom Parade in El Dorado. This parade honors veterans each year with groups coming from all over Butler County and beyond to participate. The band did extremely well despite the chilly weather! Following the parade, the Butler Sideliners (BCC) invited the Bluestem Band to share an impromptu performance at Gordy Park, with each group taking turns playing music! The BHS Band just finished a busy week this week with their Fall Concert taking place on Tuesday November 8th. The concert featured both the bands and choirs from grades 7-12 and was well attended by the community. Way to go Lions for a fantastic week of performances!
