Bluestem Students Perform Well...
...On 2009 State Assessments

Bluestem students from elementary through high school performed very well on the 2009 state assessments in reading, math, science and writing. No social studies assessments were given this year. Bluestem Elementary students, in grades 3-6, met the Kansas “Standard of Excellence” in ten of twelve categories. Bluestem Middle School students, in grades 7 and 8, met the “Standard” in six of eight categories and Bluestem High School students met the “Standard in two of four categories, including math and reading.
The 2008-2009 school report cards are now available online at the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) web site. There are links to these report cards on the bottom of the Bluestem web site’s front page.
