The Board approved the consent agenda that included approval of the March 13, 2017 regular meeting minutes and financial reports and claims.

No one addressed the Board during public participation forum.

The Board heard staff reports including a presentation from the Beginner Robotics Club, members present were Dawson Tullis, Joshua Drake and Coach Becky Henry.

The Board approved ending the summer moratorium for all activities and following the guidelines set force by the KSHSAA.

The Board entered an executive session to discuss employer / employee negotiations.

The Board entered an executive session to discuss non-elected personnel.

The Board approved the employment of Troy Babcock as BJSHS physical education / health teacher and BHS head girls basketball coach.

The Board approved the employment of Grant Bachura as BJSHS social studies teacher and BHS head boys baseball coach.

The Board approved the employment of Brett Wuthrich as BES physical education teacher.

The Board approved the employment of Alexandra Taylor as BES 5th grade teacher.

The Board approved the employment of Brenda Dahna as BES 2nd grade teacher.

The Board approved the employment of Nash Burtin as BJSHS math teacher and BHS head wrestling coach.

The Board approved the transfer of Beverly Burnham from 2nd grade to Title Reading for the 2017-2018 school year.

The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:15 p.m.
