The Board approved the consent agenda that included approval of the October 12, 2015 regular meeting minutes and financial reports and claims.

The Board heard staff reports including a presentation from Mrs. Keiffer’s Physics class.

No one addressed the Board during public participation forum.

The Board discussed the technology initiative to be adopted for the 2016-2017 school year. No action was taken at this time.

The Board approved to change the district’s Unemployment State Tax to the reimbursing method and insure the potential losses with First Nonprofit Group.

The Board approved the purchase of a new suburban from Davis-Moore Chevrolet.

The Board approved Resolution 2015-11-01 which included the interlocal cooperation agreement for the Kansas Educational Risk Management Insurance Pool and the Amended and Restated Bylaws.

The Board entered a series of executive sessions to discuss employee/employer negotiations.

The Board approved the resignation of Arminda Gracia as a BES Teacher Aide.

The Board recessed at approximately 8:25 p.m. to enter a negotiations meeting with the Bluestem Teachers Association held at the Bluestem Elementary Library.

The Board returned to open session at 9:47 p.m.

The Board entered a series of executive sessions to conduct the fall Superintendent evaluation.

The meeting adjourned at 10:55 p.m.
