November 11, 2014

The Board approved the consent agenda that included approval of the October 13, 2014 regular meeting minutes, financial reports and claims and the Bobcat lease agreement with First Bank of Sterling, KS.

Several students from Mrs. Keiffer’s Chemistry class provided presentations on Element Families.

The Board heard staff reports.

One patron addressed the board during Public Participation Forum. To protect the privacy rights of non-elected personnel and students, the board invited two additional speakers into an executive session to hear their comments.

The Board entered several additional executive sessions for non-elected personnel.

The Board approved the resignation of Kim Franklin as BJSHS Evening Custodian. The Board approved the employment of James Bode as BJSHS Evening Custodian. The Board approved the employment of Christine Tompkins as the 5-12 Instrumental Music Teacher.

The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:40 pm.
