Support our Troops: KFDI's Christmas in a Box

The Battle Buddy program is collecting items for KFDI’s Brian and Kellie’s “Christmas in a Box” for OUR Troops serving overseas during Christmas time. Items due no later than November 15. No glass, aerosol. CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS: (ONLY NEW BOXED ITEMS, which will fit in flat rate boxes) Christmas wall décor, stockings, Santa hats, table top trees, Plastic ornaments, Christmas lights (smaller is better, such as 50 light sets), Garland, New Year’s 2013 items, Cards and letters from home: They really love letters from kids and we can never have too many! SNACKS: Beef Jerky/Slim Jims, Powder drink mixes (Gatorade/Crystal Light/PowerAde/Kool-Aid), Protein Powder & Protein Bars (top request), Sunflower Seeds/Pumpkin seeds, Tuna/Chicken pouches/ready to eat, Coffee (ground) (They love Starbucks), Bags of hard candy (hard candy, Jolly Ranchers, etc.), Hot Chocolate, Herbal Teas, Bagged snacks: Pretzels /Cheetos /Fritos /Chex Mix /Wheat Thins /Ritz, Trail mix/dried fruit, microwave popcorn (full boxes only), Cheese Crackers/Peanut butter & Crackers (in full boxes only), Boxed cookies, Dry soup, Plastic jars of peanut butter, Little Debbies/Hostess Cake snacks, instant oatmeal, *Watch expiration dates on all items. They must extend into 2013.* TOILETRIES: NO HOTEL SAMPLES! Baby wipes, Deodorant (roll on), Shampoo/conditioner, Body wash, hair gel (men’s & women’s), toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss, feminine hygiene products, disposable razors, lip balm/Chap Stick/Carmex/Blistex, Foot powder, lotion/moisturizer, sunblock (SPF 45), breath mints/strips, Cough drops/lozenges, Tylenol/Motrin/Advil/Aspirin/Midol packets, Visine, Ziploc bags (gallon size) T-shirts, Socks, Hats: New Cotton green, tan undershirts (M, L, XL), New Socks black, olive green, white (cotton or wool), knitted hats in black, tan or green ENTERTAINMENT ITEMS: New release DVD movies, CD's, Portable CD players w/ headphones, earbuds, Batteries (AA, AAA, C, 9-volt no lithium), Electronic handheld games, 35 mm disposable cameras, Blank note cards/stationary w/ envelopes, Game books: Crossword puzzles/word searches/Sudoku, Ink Pens (in packages), Toys like Nerf footballs/Frisbees/hackey sacks Please bring items to Ms. Crumrine’s room at BJSHS BY NOV. 15.
