BHS hosting a Chili Feed
Proceeds go to the Kyle Madden Family
BHS will be hosting a benefit Chili Supper on Friday, January 8, 2010 at 4:30 p.m. in the high school commons area. The chili supper will benefit Peyton Madden, the three year old son of Kyle and Sarah Madden. Kyle Madden is a math teacher and wrestling coach for Bluestem High School. Peyton was recently diagnosed with Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP), a genetic disorder that that prevents the body from fighting the effects of U.V. rays. There will also be an "upscale" cake and pie raffle that night. If you are interested in donating cakes or pies for the raffle please contact Stacey Scribner at 742-3291 or sscribner@usd205.com. All proceeds will be donated to the Kyle Madden family to help defray the costs of ongoing medical treatment and modification of their home to make it a safe living environment for their son.
