| Remember that anyone can put
anything on the Internet. You need to use quality web sites that
are authoritative and not biased. Surfwax is a good place to help narrow or broaden your topic. After you place your topic in the search line, click on the Focus icon. Surfwax will list similar, narrower or broader terms for many of the topics you enter. What search engine is right for you? Use the Choose the Best Search on Noodletools. It is in the center, under Software Tools. Clusty is a favorite of mine. It is classified as a metasearch engine, which means it search several search engines (i. e. Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc) and makes one list for us to view and select from. Clusty groups the results by “clusters” so the information is easy to find (on the left of the page). Other Megasearch Engines that also categorizes their findings ( on the right side of the page) |
