Drug & Alcohol Free Schools Notice
Bluestem USD 205 believes that maintaining a drug and alcohol free workplace and learning environment is important in establishing a high quality atmosphere for working and learning for students and employees. The unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of a controlled substance or alcoholic beverages is prohibited in the district. Bluestem USD 205’s Drug and Alcohol policies are intended to implement the requirements of the federal regulations promulgated under the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988, 34 CFR Part 85, Subpart F as amended by the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act Amendments of 1989 (P.L. 101-226).
