Classroom Grants
BASE Classroom Grants
B.A.S.E. is pleased to be offering $3500.00 available for classroom grants for the 2009-10 school year. Each school year, the B.A.S.E. Foundation awards classroom grants to help fund projects that are not within the regular school budget. Grant requests come from educators in the Bluestem school district who are looking for ways to fund innovative programs and equipment to enhance their students’ education. Download the classroom grant application and guidelines. Grants are awarded for requests that meet B.A.S.E. guidelines on a first come, first served basis.
In the 2008-09 school year, B.A.S.E. was pleased to provide grant funds totaling $3500 to our schools for the purchase of an Elmo document projector for use in the high school, heart monitors for the BMS and BHS physical education classes, and the purchase of two pottery throwing wheels for the Bluestem High School ceramics classroom.
Classroom grants are funded in part by payroll deductions by USD 205 employees and gifts from district patrons. The B.A.S.E. Foundation would like to thank everyone who has donated to B.A.S.E for making these grant awards possible.
