Dance Team Grooms Aspiring Lionettes
The Bluestem High School Dance Team, The Lionettes, prepared two groups of elemenary students for a dance performance at the final home basketball game on Friday, February 19th. Lionettes Macee Genter and Sidney Dey worked with the K-3 group and Kaylee Knoll, Lexi Bailey and Layne Gilliand worked with the 4-6 group. The lion cub dancers performed routines at the game to the theme "Gone Country." Dance team sponsor, Michelle Genter, said, "The girls worked really hard with the little ones and had a great time. I'm really proud of my dancers!"
