Bluestem Middle School Track and Field Starts March 9th

The Bluestem Middle School track and field season is set to begin on March 9th, 2009. Wrestlers and wrestling managers will report to the team on March 23rd. The parent meeting will be held March 24th at 5:30 PM.
The 8th grade track team will be counted on to provide experience and leadership. Returning league medalists include Bobby Duarte, Brandee Oliver, Gabriella Gomez, Trent Navarro, and Jenna Irwin. It is expected that many other athletes from the 7th and 8th grade classes will step up and contribute to the success of the team.
Dennis Hatfield, Melissa Megli, and Chris Houseman will coach the Cubs team for the 2009 season. The middle school track team will be working closely with the high school track coaches: George Stewart, Tod Johnson, and Nancy Thomas to develop a successful track and field program.
T-shirts will be made available for purchase in the BMS office. Parents and athletes are welcome to order extra shirts for the entire family.
