Honor Choir Gears Up for Busy Spring

The Bluestem Elementary Honor Choir will be keeping busy performing all over Butler County during the month of May. We will start out Wednesday, May 7, 2007 with an evening concert for Haverhill Christian Church that performance will be a 7:00 pm. On Friday, May 9, 2008 will take a half day off from school and perform at the Leon Senior Center and travel to Augusta and sing for the residents of The Fairways of Augusta.
An event enjoyed by all is the Bluestem Elementary Honor Choir annual world wide Butler County tour. This will take place on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. We take the whole day off from school and travel around the county singing. This day you will find the choir performing at Haverhill Elementary, Vintage Place and Lake Point Nursing in El Dorado and Lake Point Nursing in Augusta. We will stop for a delightful lunch at McDonald's.
Our Spring extravaganza will conclude with a combined concert featuring the Honor Choir and the fifth and sixth grade band students. This performance will be Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 7:00 pm in the Bluestem Elementary gymnasium. The concert will be preceded by the Art Club art show.
